Cake Depot

Challenge

Cake Depot is the only bakery supply company in the Charlotte area, supplying the needs of regional bakers. Without a functional website, Cake Depot reached out to TC Creatives to rebuild its website and enhance the user experience.

Approach

Beyond redesigning the Cake Deport website, it was imperative for TC Creatives to understand the needs of the brand. After identifying deficiencies from inventory to customer needs and satisfaction, we were able to develop website processes and marketing strategies for the brand.

Strategy

Before redesigning the website, we designed stylescapes to help create the tone and visuals of the brand. Though Cake Depot was a supply store, their party rentals and cooking classes had a bold, lively personality. The final stylescape captured the mood and tone of the brand while allowing the focus to stay on the products.

Brand Identity

Business cards were designed for the Cake Depot staff to tie into the new brand look and personality. A fun outlined logo was used on the back of the cards while keeping the front in a more traditional centered design.

Web Development

For an optimal customer experience, TC Creatives created a clean and organized design. We renamed Cake Depot’s product inventory and restructured the inventory system.

The website functionality was paramount to the success of Cake Depot’s brand. We created loyalty programs, pick-up management systems, online class registrations, and other elements to streamline Cake Depot processes.

Social Media

A social media marketing strategy was developed to help Cake Depot highlight all of its offerings while connecting with its followers. Colorful branded templates were used for some posts to tie in the brand elements and build visual brand recognition.

Email

To ensure the Cake Depot website relaunch success, TC Creatives designed email automation to build a connection with the customer and brand loyalty.
